This photo shows Lena Betz, posing in a shawl. In fact one gets the impression that the shawl may have been the point of the picture. It is undated. The location may be Devil’s Lake, Michigan, where the family of Edward R. Betz used to vacation. There is very faint lettering on the back but so far all that we can make out is “Aug” and “sick 3 years.” A best guess dating would be early 1920’s.
