Cream Tomato Soup 1 can tomatoes 1 pt of Water 1 bay leaf celery cut fine or else use celery extract peper + salt put this on to boil well when boiled enough take off and strain then put back on stove and add 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed to a paste with a little water and put in tomatoes and let boil until it thickens then serve. Coffee Cake (Mrs Sar Louis) 3 tablespoons of lard 3 " " sugar 1 egg 1 large cup of Milk pinch of salt 2 teaspoons of baking powder 3 cups of flour
